A team of adolescents got a distinct type of thrill ride when they had to be plucked from a stalled roller coaster at a New Mexico amusement park Saturday night time.
The eight teens were stuck atop “El Bandido” for two hours at the Western Playland Amusement Park when two cars and trucks on the fast coaster floor to a halt, the El Paso Moments said.
Firefighters from the West Valley Fireplace Department ended up dispatched to the scene all over 8:30 p.m. and ultimately managed to use a ladder truck to rescue the stranded teenagers.
“I understood absolutely everyone that was up there so we stored just about every other business,” Angel Cuevas, 1 of the young adults, informed WGFL-Television set.
“Some of us acquired hungry and other folks experienced to use the restroom,” Cuevas explained. “Waiting that lengthy was quite wild for us, but we were all grateful that we received down properly.”
The Sunland Park Fire Office served out with the rescue, and no one was wounded.
Officers have not decided what prompted the coaster to arrive to malfunction.
