Taliban seals off Kabul airport, stops crowds as airlift winds down


The Taliban deployed added forces all over Kabul’s airport Saturday in a bid to prevent massive crowds as the US-led effort to evacuate folks from Afghanistan races toward an Aug. 31 deadline.
