Prince Andrew served court papers in sex-assault lawsuit


Prince Andrew has finally been served courtroom papers around his sexual intercourse accuser’s lawsuit — following his police guards and security were initially purchased not to settle for them, according to courtroom papers submitted Friday.

Cesar Sepulveda filed an affidavit in the Manhattan federal court docket lawsuit introduced by Virginia Roberts Giuffre confirming that he had served the papers to Andrew at his Royal Lodge property at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 27.

“It appeared from the attendance that the security personnel had previously been primed not to allow for any individual access on to the residence to provide court approach and had been instructed not to settle for any support,” his affidavit said.

He then still left messages with Andrew’s attorney, but “no conversation was received” in response, he claimed, forcing him to return to Royal Lodge the next day.

This time, the officer at the gate contacted Andrew’s head of safety, who assured Sepulveda that he could depart the papers and they would be forwarded to the Duke of York’s authorized group.

Sepulveda questioned if it was “possible to satisfy personally” with Andrew to serve him instantly, but was “was explained to that this was not doable,” his affidavit mentioned.

Even so, leaving it with the police officer “is dependable with the provisions for company,” the affidavit pointed out, said that Andrew was officially served the grievance and displays.

He also left paperwork alerting him that the initial listening to, a telephone meeting from New York, is scheduled for Monday, the papers mentioned.

Giuffre’s lawsuit claims she was “forced to have sexual intercourse with Prince Andrew against her will” at the behest of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and accused madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

“Prince Andrew’s steps represent sexual offenses” including very first- and 3rd-diploma rape, the lawsuit alleges, citing New York penal code, underneath which rape incorporates with somebody “by forcible compulsion.”

Giuffre claims she suffered “substantial damages” from “extreme emotional distress, humiliation, fear, psychological trauma, reduction of dignity and self-esteem, and invasion of her privateness.”

“I am holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me,” Giuffre told The Article in a assertion following submitting her lawsuit.

“The impressive and abundant are not exempt from staying held dependable for their steps,” she stated.

“I did not come to this conclusion evenly. As a mother and a wife, my spouse and children arrives initial – and I know that this motion will issue me to further assaults by Prince Andrew and his surrogates – but I knew if I did not go after this action, I would be permitting them and victims everywhere down,” she reported.

Andrew has consistently denied Giuffre’s promises, which include through a BBC interview in which he insisted he experienced “no recollection of ever conference this girl, none by any means.”

Neither he, his legal group nor Buckingham Palace has responded to the lawsuit.

Epstein hanged himself in his Manhattan lockup in August 2019 when awaiting demo on serious sexual intercourse fees.

Maxwell is in custody in Brooklyn awaiting trial for allegedly recruiting underage ladies for Epstein. She has pleaded not guilty.
