A lifeguard was killed and six other persons hurt after they had been struck by lightning at a New Jersey beach Monday, studies stated.
The lightning strike transpired late Monday afternoon on the 21st Avenue beachfront of South Seaside Park in Berkeley Township, according to NBC Philadelphia and the Asbury Park Press.
A person lifeguard was killed and a 2nd 1 was injured alongside with five beachgoers, like a 50-yr-old lady, 51-calendar year-old person and 19-yr-outdated person, legislation-enforcement resources told NBC Philadelphia.
At least one individual acquired CPR at the scene, the Asbury Park Press noted.

The Berkeley Township Police Office was unable to verify the death and the injuries but wrote on its Fb web page that officers had been investigating.
