Man drives car into workers at California COVID vaccination clinic



A male drove his auto into two staff outside a California COVID-19 vaccination clinic, forcing the clinic to near Sunday, in accordance to area reviews.

The driver arrived at the site at all-around 4:45 p.m. Saturday and commenced crashing into cones, indicators and staff, Sergeant Dmitry Barkon of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station explained to KHTS.

The incident was described as an assault with a deadly weapon, and law enforcement believe that the driver veered into the workers intentionally.

“One of the staff was buying up a signal when they had been struck by the car,” Barkon instructed the station.

The overall altercation remained “non-verbal,” Barkon stated, and the intent stays unclear.

One staff was treated on scene with slight arm injuries even though the other was not hurt, authorities instructed NBC 4.

“We are saddened by this horrible incident, and our feelings and prayers are with the human being hurt. Public overall health is working with regional authorities and the vaccination site has closed as the investigation is underway,” LA County Public Wellness claimed in a assertion to NBC.

The suspect fled in a gray 4-door sedan and has not still been apprehended.
