A heartless California male is experiencing felony prices for allegedly setting his have doggy on fire in a Los Angeles park.
Brandon Smith, 24, was strike with animal cruelty charges following law enforcement said he was caught on surveillance movie walking into the park on Aug. 22 and leaving with no the pooch, KNBC-Television set reported Wednesday.
The 7-calendar year-previous Corgi combine, named Hennesy, was found tied to a pole and terribly burned — and died times later on.
“I’ve under no circumstances witnessed some thing that horrific,” Carrie-Lynn Neales, of the animal rescue team A Purposeful Rescue, told the outlet.
“On Thursday I went to see her at our vet, and that’s when I noticed the extent of the trauma and the abuse,” Neales claimed. “It’s some thing I’ll never ever unsee and it was pretty horrific.”


Smith’s ex-girlfriend, Serena Prentice, instructed KNBC that she has a restraining buy towards him and claimed he has a history of mental ailment and violence, the station said.
“The only matter I can consider of is just disgust, actually,” she stated.
