A shocking online video making the rounds on social media claims to display a panicked crowd hurry into the terminal at Kabul airport following Afghanistan fell to the Taliban — but the footage was shot in Texas.
The footage posted by various Twitter buyers, like by @Conflict_Zones, is really a clip of nervous lovers dashing into AT&T Stadium in Arlington for a 2019 activity involving the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks, Newsweek claimed in a report Thursday.
The clip was originally posted on Jan. 5, 2019, by Jon Machota, a reporter for The Athletic who was covering the game for the outlet.
“AT&T Stadium doorways have opened for Cowboys vs Seahawks,” Machota wrote on the put up.
Meanwhile, there are ample photographs and videos circulating in the media and on the net demonstrating the serious-everyday living desperate problem at the Afghan airport.
The Kabul airport was mobbed by hundreds of panicked Afghans determined to flee the state soon after US troops pulled out and the Taliban seized the place.
