GOP lawmakers urge Dem leaders to vote on bill forcing Canadian border open

Two GOP lawmakers are pushing Residence Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer to drive ahead a monthly bill that would reopen the Canadian border for non-important journey, to “revitalize American positions and tourism.” 

While the Canadian border is expected to continue being closed until eventually Sept. 21, Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) argued on Wednesday that it is “past time” for Congress to take action and supply enable to those who count on cross-border company.
