GOP backlash brewing against Biden as pols call for resignation

Republicans are vowing to maintain President Joe Biden accountable for his managing of the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that has led to the demise of at the very least 13 US servicemembers and about 100 Afghans.

As several GOP associates have begun to press for impeachment or resignations, Household Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif) hinted at political repercussions for Biden, but stopped quick of stating what those could be.

It is now crystal clear outside of all question that he has neither the capability nor the will to guide. He will have to resign,” Hawley said in a tweet.
