Don Everly of rock duo the Everly Brothers dead at 84


Don Everly of the rock duo the Everly Brothers died Saturday, according to a report.

A spouse and children spokesperson instructed the Los Angeles Times that the 84-year-outdated died but did not expose a cause.

“Don lived by what he felt in his coronary heart,” examine the spokesperson’s assertion. “Don expressed his appreciation for the skill to stay his goals … with his soulmate and spouse, Adela, and sharing the new music that made him an Everly Brother.”

Phil and Don Everly were well known in the 1950s and ’60s, when they sent hits like “All I have to Do Is Dream” and “Bye Bye Really like.” The brothers recorded about three dozen hit information that made the Billboard Sizzling 100 chart.

The nation audio-influenced pair, known for their signature melodies and acoustic guitar taking part in, were being inducted into the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame in 1986, the institution’s first yr. Rolling Stone Journal the moment described them as the “the most significant vocal duo in rock.”

In 1997, the crooning duo have been provided a lifetime accomplishment award at the Grammys.

Phil Everly died in 2014 at the age of 74.
