Colorado cop chokes, threatens to kill unarmed man, video reveals


A Colorado police officer is dealing with prison fees after pistol-whipping, choking and threatening to shoot an unarmed gentleman who experienced a warrant out for his arrest, cops said.

Physique digicam footage released Tuesday exhibits Aurora Law enforcement Officer John Haubert responding to a trespassing connect with Friday and confronting a person of a few males who experienced remarkable felony warrants. Two other people ran off as Haubert approached, the clip reveals.

“You’re killing me, you are killing me, bro,” the bloodied male responds as he struggles with Haubert and a further officer, Francine Martinez.

Haubert then chokes the male as he pleads for help, indicating he “didn’t do anything” or try to operate absent, the footage shows.

“If you go, I will shoot you,” Haubert claims. “Do not shift. End battling!”

Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson instructed reporters Tuesday that Haubert has been charged with attempted first-degree assault, 2nd-diploma assault and felony menacing in the incident. Martinez was also charged for not intervening to attempt to stop Haubert through the arrest.

The officers, who surrendered to police, have since bonded out of jail, a pissed off Wilson advised reporters when displaying the “disturbing” law enforcement footage.
