Roundtable discussion: Investing in Microfinance. Room: Spiseriet Møller
Microfinance has proved its potential as a poverty reduction, empowerment and economic development. International support is significant, occasionally overwhelming. What and where is the unmet demand for foreign capital, guarantees and capacity-building for microfinance? Is there a link between Northern CSR and microfinance as a mechanism of development cooperation? How can Norway (state, civil society and private sector) form effective partnerships with microfinance institutions of developing countries?
